the
source of this typeface is no mystery. it's a redraw, perhaps
mutation would
be a better description, of a member of the DIN family.
the typeface came from a need to design a new and original identity
for a collaborative group of designers that i was part of at
the time. |
many of the members decided, in no uncertain terms, that the
typeface that i was currently employing was too: “conservative.”
thus a high mark of german typeface design was coerced and corrupted.
